ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

People connector, cheerleader, and positive change-maker.

Mary Katherine (MK) is passionate about connecting families and individuals who want to create positive change with the leaders and the organizations that make the greatest impact for good. She oversees the Philanthropic Services team, which includes donor-directed grant-making and fund-holder services. She advises non-profit partners on scaling their operations, connects large foundations to philanthropic issues they care about, facilitates legacy gifts, and establishes charitable funds. MK works closely with professional advisors, government, and community leaders to facilitate complex grants, gifts, and programs that turn ambitions into realities. Through teamwork, MK has secured over $120M in funding for nonprofit organizations in our community in the areas of brain health, education, social-emotional learning, and scholarships.

She is also a two-time author; her most recent book, Becoming Woman of Principle, which helps women transform their minds, live courageously and rise to their call as a leader through teaching five principles and practices that help women become a leader – in life and career.

This book has been sold in five countries and is reaching women around the world. MK believes her calling is to help women rise and become the leader God is calling them to be. She also created the Women of Principle Community which brings women together to learn principles and practices that again help her rise and live a life she loves.
